A site with important commercial activity with regions such as the Highlands of Jalisco or La Quemada in Zacatecas. Small neighborhoods of experts in pottery, rocks and other products were settled around it. Its first inhabitants shared the shaft tomb tradition with other western sites; but then, they included elements of the Mesoamerican Classic, such as the slope-and-panel, the distribution of three temples surrounding a patio, stylized representations of Quetzalcóatl, among others.
