Mayan Museum of Cancún

REVIEW

This is the most important new museum work carried out by the National Institute of Anthropology and History since the construction of the National Museum of Anthropology (1964) and the Templo Mayor Museum (1987). It protects the most significant archaeological collections of the Mayan culture in the country, for it not only includes relevant pieces from the state of Quintana Roo, but a selection of emblematic pieces from sites like Palenque, Chichén Itzá and Comalcalco, among other sites represented.
