REVIEW

This building hosted the Convent of Saint Catherine of Siena, founded in 1593 by a group Dominican nuns from Oaxaca. It was built from 1619 to 1623 and was renewed in 1823. In 1908 the Jurisprudence School moved to this building, which in 1948 became part of the university heritage. In 1954 the National School of Jurisprudence moved to Ciudad Universitaria, so the precinct became a space for holding courses, lectures, corporate events, concerts and exhibitions.
