One Pe$o a Kilo

Not only books tell history: also, coins do it. Of gold, silver or other metals. Of paper or plastic. With more or less zeros. Coins and bills have accompanied you throughout your history. The same as your parents. And the parents of your parents. Let these objects take you to the daily life of people like you and your family, but from different times of Mexico, while they tell you what they bought, how much did it cost and, specially, why they bought it for. This exhibition is presented with the sponsorship of the Bank of Mexico from whose collection of coins and bills a special selection was made for this exhibition and with some objects that MoDo generously lent.
