REVIEW

The teaching house of the city was built from 1902 to 1908 by the architect Carlos Zacarias Flores using the neoclassical style. In 1915 the architect along with his daughter María Adelina Flores founded a school for young ladies, where they taught arts, then she opened an elementary school, and at the same time a vocational school, where indigenous people and poor people were taught, and they were taught some trade (carpentry, bakery, tailoring, etc.). The school grew greatly, so it became necessary to instruct people to teach classes, so that Ms. Maria Adelina Flores, decides to start working for the creation of a normal school for teachers, which was achieved the June 23 of 1922.
