REVIEW

The Metro Museum is an important project in the program for the modernization of the Metro Collective Transportation System (STCM), from the point of view of culture.

Its collection includes an exhibition of commemorative tickets, photos of the first woman who bought a ticket (called Gertrudis), models such as that of Insurgentes Roundabout, works by great artists such as Alfredo Zalce, Raúl Anguiano, Leonora Carrington, Vicente Rojo, Vlady, among others, and archaeological remains recovered since 1967, when the works for the construction of the Line 1 started. Besides uniforms, tickets, and written fragments that will tell you about its almost 50 years as the most used transportation system in the city.
