The Mexican Institute of Youth (IMJUVE), is a Federal Government unit, whose job is to make public policy in favor of Mexican youth to give them the necessary tools in education, health, employment, and social participation.

Created in 1999, the IMJUVE works for the 37.9 millions of young people recognizing them with the National Youth Award to those ones who outstands in academics, community work, human rights or taking care of the environment.
