Royal Seminar of Mines

  • CATEGORY: Cultural Centers

REVIEW

In this building lie the foundations of the first center for scientific research of the continent, and is the house of the graduates belonging to the Society of Graduates of the Engineering School of UNAM (SEFI).

A special acknowledgment must go to the talent of the painter Leonardo Nierman, who developed and donated the beautiful mural in the entrance of the building that, together with the stained-glass windows in the interior, stand as magnificent works of art.

Presently, the Royal Seminar of Mines, in Guatemala 90, is the external branch of the Center for the Teaching of Foreign Languages, for the research, certification, and teaching of courses of languages, as a support to the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
