REVIEW

In 1996, after the disincorporation of the National Railways of Mexico (FNM), Pachuca train station, located on Mejía St. without number in Morelos neighborhood, stopped providing service as a terminal. Since 1999, it becomes the Train Cultural Center, a space for recreation and access to culture; thanks to the acquisition of the Government of the State of Hidalgo and the intervention and custody of the property by the State Council for Culture and the Arts of Hidalgo (CECULTAH). In 2015, the Train Cultural Center began a process of restoration and remodeling to improve its functionality without taking away the important historical vocation it has for people of Hidalgo.
