Museum of the Yaqui People

REVIEW

The Museum of the Yaqui People opened its doors as a recognition to the original Yaqui people, whose participation in the different stages in the history of the State has always been relevant.

The museum provides elements for the study, recognition and dissemination of its historical background, language, demography, clothing, housing, crafts, economy, festivities, political, social and religious organization, music, dance, gastronomy and customs in general.

With the above, we intend to affirm the historical and ethnographic values of our region, based on the indigenous groups that constitute the basis of our nationality.
