The House of Culture of Tlalpan was originally designed by the Engineer Alberto J. Pani on 1907, and its construction was used to harbor the House of Pumps in the Condesa neighborhood, however, derived from the establishment of the Mexican Institute for Exterior Commerce, its beautiful façade was removed and moved to the Forest of Tlalpan until, on the year 1986, the authorities of Tlalpan, used the stones and, acknowledging the great beauty of its architectonic structure, erected it again in order to install the House of Culture of Tlalpan, which was inaugurated on November 1988.
