REVIEW

The museum is also known as Hoeffer House since it was property of Dr. Alberto Hoeffer who began the construction in 1904. It reflects the French influence, characteristic of the Porfirio Diaz’s period. Nowadays, it houses a wide and rich historical collection of the State.
It has two exhibit rooms and murals about ethnic groups of Sonora by Ethel Cook.
