Pedro Coronel Museum

REVIEW

It is located in the first College of the Society of Jesus, which is stablished in Zacatecas in 1617 at the foundation of the first Jesuit mission. There is the amazing collection of universal works of art donated by the remarkable artist from Zacatecas Pedro Coronel.

The collection includes magnificent samples of the universal plastic, made by artists such as Salvador Dalí, Picasso, Miró, Braque, Hagart, Chagal and Basarelli. Other works that distinguish the museum are sculptures of the colonial Mexican period and a rich collection of around 20 thousand volumes from the 16th to the 19th centuries, included in the Elias Amador Library.
