Inaugurated on February 13, 2004 with a design by the architects Francisco and Rodrigo Marvan and a museographic concept by Ofelia Martinez, it promotes research, education, and social affairs through the history of nature. It has five permanent halls dedicated to the universe, life, evolution, paleontology, biodiversity of Tamaulipas, man and nature complemented with objects, graphics, audio, video, virtual theater, manual and computer interactive spaces, and entertaining areas for children. It also has an auditorium, press room, library, restaurant, coffee shop, exhibit halls for temporary exhibits, courses and workshops and a research center on natural resources. Among its services you can find guided visits.

$30 Entrada General al museo y planetario. $10 Entrada General, únicamente planetario. Los lunes cerrado al público, sólo laboran en áreas administrativas de 9:00 a 18:00 horas




$15.00 Entrada General a estudiantes museo y planetario. Gratuito para adultos mayores, niños menores de 5 años y personas con discapacidad
