REVIEW

Bodas de sangre by Federico García Lorca, and directed by Margarita Xirgú, and scenography by Antonio López Mancera. At first, due to its location in Chapultepec, it took the name of Teatro del Bosque (Theater of the Woods). In 1989, during the celebration of the 200 performances of La noche de Hernán Cortés by Vicente Leñero; in 2000, it was again restored and inaugurated in November of that year with <i ""="" normal"="">El atentado by Jorge Ibargüengoitia, directed by David Olguin. In this facility, belonging to INBA and purposely built, take place opera, music, plays, dancing, movies as well as children’s shows and festivals. Since November 2003 it is the headquarters of the National Company of Theater.
