This museum was opened in memory and honor of the renowned "Queen of the Mexican Ranchera song" Lola Beltrán (LucilaBeltrán Ruiz) "The Great Lola." In four of its seven rooms, you can see various objects and personal items that belonged to the eminent singer: Lola’s classic dresses, her accessories and the LP’sthat the favorite daughter of El Rosario, her hometown, recorded throughout her career. She used toremember the name of her town during her artistic presentations in her classic phrase: “My Dear Rosario.” Another section of the museum has been designated to the history of the former Royal Mines of El Rosario: evidence of the pre-Hispanic period with vestiges of the Totorame culture and various pieces that reveal the main activities that were developed over three hundred years of their history: mining, trade, agriculture and daily life. It’s currently closed due to a conversion process.
