REVIEW

The land where the center is located was donated to the people by Mr. Wolfgang Schoenborn Stuertz in 1975 during the administration of Rubén Figueroa Alcocer, who negotiated the donation.
The project and construction of the Center was in charge of Jorge Eduardo and Héctor Coz Cortés. It was inaugurated on March 20, 1976 by President Luis Echeverría Álvarez. In 2011, it was remodeled under Zeferino Torreblanca Galindo’s administration and Nora Elisa Méndez as Director of the Institute of Culture of Guerrero.
Different courses and workshops are given, for example, Japanese and English, drawing, painting, craftsmanship, sculpture, guitar, violin and piano lessons, folkloric dance, belly dance, theater, choir singing.
