The Diego Rivera Art Gallery is located in the center of Xalapa, Veracruz; under Parque Juárez this location allows it to have various audiences. This cultural precinct houses temporary exhibitions, which change every two months and a half.
The Diego Rivera Art Gallery exhibits visual art by well-known national and international artists, it consolidates its position as one of the most relevant spaces within the culture of the State of Veracruz.
The Diego Rivera Art Gallery was inaugurated in April 1998 with the mission to house and display the Diego Rivera collection composed of 36 works made by the illustrious Mexican artist. Its role has expanded and currently the Diego Rivera Art Gallery contributes to the cultural activity in the state promoting and disseminating the work of a high standard of contemporary artist of visual arts thanks to the joint effort of the Government of the State, the Secretariat of Tourism and Culture, and the Cultural Institute of Veracruz.
It seeks to provide an interesting approach in assembling and curation of each exhibit, all of this with the idea of highlighting each personality, line and perspective that the artist in turn wants to give to the audience.
So it depends on the work, whether it be sculpture, visual; the team working at the facility changes a new exhibit with a fully customized museography.
