La Sylphide

Considered as one of the most representative pieces of romantic ballet, for it is assumed as a symbol for an impossible love. It narrates the story of James, a young Scotsman, who is about to get married is seduced by a sylph only he can see and decides to leave his fiancée, to respond to a love that ends in tragedy.
