Meet the Characters in Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in the Alameda Central

Between July and September on 1947, Rivera painted Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in the Alameda Central, a 15.66 x 4.18 meters fresco. The artist chose to use the Alameda Central park as space for representation and brought together different protagonists of the national history with a gallery of everyday characters, all of them evoking a nostalgic past or well, dreaming.
