The disintegration of the Ottoman Empire caused an immigration wave from the Levant to the European and American continents. Citizens of what would later be Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria, searched for a new home in Latin America. Upon their arrival, they were called Turks, later Arabs. However, under these homogenizing labels, there is a cultural diversity to explore.

Through life stories, this video aims to make known the reasons of the Syrian, Palestine, and Lebanese immigration to Mexico City, as well as the relation they established with their new home.
