A Six Dollar Cup of Coffee follows a coffee cooperative made up by indigenous Tseltal families in Chiapas, which struggles to commercialize their finished product outside of the conventional market. Understanding coffee as a way to protect their identity, their land, and the right to live in better conditions, they aim to sell abroad at the same time that a plague that destroys coffee trees could mean the destruction of coffee in the whole continent.
