Glances at the Collection

An Approach to the Unique Film Archive of the National Cinematheque

Glances at the Collection is a collection of unknown materials ranging from camera tests of the Rodríguez brothers until the inauguration of a broadcasting television plant. Among the content you can see in this project there are images of Zapatista fighters taken from a nitrate film in 35 mm, images of the Mexico mobile cinema (which on the decade on 1970 the National Cinematheque developed as social project), and many files more, of fiction as well as unknown short films.

Part of this material can be found reunited as a playlist in the Cinematheque YouTube channel.
