Coatlinchán, predecessor of the Great Kingdom of Texcoco, preserves two architectural jewels of the 16th - 17th centuries, the Parish of St. Michael the Archangel and its former Convent.

On the other hand, San Miguel Tlaixpan is a community located in the municipality of Texcoco, the name Tlaixpan has a Nahuatl origin and means "from the hillside" or "village in front of the hill". A characteristic of this town is St. Michael the Archangel Patron Fest, durint it, the interior of the parish is embellished with pleasant aroma flowers that cover its walls. The building is from the 17th century and corresponds to the Franciscan order.
