Hydropropulsed Rocket Workshop: From the Earth to the Moon

The workshop will be held on Saturday, August 24th, 2019, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

In this workshop, participants will learn how Saturn V rocket in the Apollo 11 mission took the first humana to the Moon, they’ll also learn the basic operation of a space rocket, they’ll create their own rocket with recycled materials and will launch them through water propulsion.

The workshop aims to arouse interest in aerospace sciences through didactic activities and is held as part of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and the exhibitions related to the Moon and the space imaginary that are presented at the Center for the Image.

Aimed at children from 6 to 12 years old, accompanied by an adult.

Requirements:

2 PET bottles of soda (2 lt.) of the same size and diameter.

· Material to decorate the bottles (acrylic paint, brushes, stickers, ribbons, etc.)
