An exhibition to go back more than 400 years in time and learn the history of silversmithing in Taxco de Alarcón, Guerrero. In colonial times, this tour began with miners underground and ended with rich merchants and galleons loaded with silver, a treasure coveted by corsairs.

70 pieces of the National Institute of History are exhibited, valued at 350 million pesos. Within the exhibition stands out a collection of coins from 400 years ago, belonging to the second stage of the shine of silversmithing in Guerrero with the Tapia family and winning works of the National Silver Contest.

Artists: William Spratling, Sigi Pineda, Carmen Tapia, Ezequiel Tapia and other winners of the National Silverware Contest.
