The Violin

Guerrero, Guest State

Don Plutarco, an old violinist, his son Genaro, and his grandson Lucio live a double life: they are musicians and farmers, at the same time they participate in the guerrilla that plans to rise in arms against their government. One evening, while returning home they discover that the army attacked their community by surprise. The rebels escape to the mountains leaving part of the ammunition hidden in the village. As the guerrilla plans the counterattack, the old Plutarco sets his plan in motion: using his violin and apparent defenselessness goes to the village to recover the ammunition.
