68 voces, 68 corazones es una serie de cuentos indígenas ilustrados y animados, narrados en su lengua originaria, creados bajo la premisa “Nadie puede amar lo que no conoce” con el fin de ayudar a fomentar el orgullo, respeto y uso de las lenguas indígenas mexicanas entre hablantes y no hablantes, así como disminuir la discriminación y fomentar un sentido de orgullo hacia todas las comunidades y culturas que forman parte de la riqueza cultural de México. 68 Voices, 68 Hearts is a series of illustrated and animated indigenous tales narrated in their native language, created under the premise “Nobody loves what one doesn’t know”, in order to help encourage the pride, respect, and use of the Mexican indigenous languages among the speakers and non-speakers, as well as to diminish the discrimination and foster a sense of pride towards the communities and cultures that are part of Mexico’s cultural richness. The project was originated on 2013 by Gabriela Badillo / HOLA COMBO, with the support of the Grant for Co-Investment of the National Trust for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) and afterwards with the support of institutions such as Canal ONCE, INALI, CDI, and Ruta Maya Coffee.
