It is through language that we communicate with the world, define our own identity, preserve our history and culture, the customs and traditions of the community, the memory, the unique modes of thought, meaning, and expression, we defend our human rights and take part in all aspects of society.

In this year, 2019, we commemorate the International Year of Indigenous Languages, 80 years of INAH, and 75 years of the archaeological work in Tlatelolco, therefore, Tlatelolco Archaeological Zone invites you to take part in the Basic Náhuatl Course.

The course will be taught by Hortencia Domínguez Vargas, who was born in Atla, Pahuatlán, in the state of Puebla, and whose mother language is Náhuatl.

Professor Dominguez studied the bachelor’s in linguistics at National School of Anthropology and History, and the training course for language-culture professors, on 2015, in the specialty of Náhuatl, among other grades.
