After the death of his mother, Socrates, a youth who lives in the outskirts of São Paulo’s coast, must survive on his own. When he faces the isolation because of his sexuality, his struggle for a dignified life will reach its breaking point. Produced by youths between 16 and 20 years old of the Instituto Querô, Alex Moratto’s debut film is an intimate and visceral movie. The spectator goes with the youth in his odyssey to find a job and in the search for his mother’s ashes.
