Jaime Colín presents a set of works that puts into question the harmfulness of human actions that, [...] for four decades, the scientific community proposed to call our age as Anthropocene, alluding to the emergence of a period determined by the human activity and its consequences in the planet’s ecology.

The exhibition brings together pieces created between 2013 and 2019. The oldest belong to the series Crop Circles, which he made after researching the agroglyphs.

Another series of works, called Crops Diagrams, emerged from the search for satellite images of crops and harvests.

The artist took these tracking of satellite images in search for different areas where the agricultural activity is manifested in a macro-scale, creating figures that modify the landscape […]: Agricultural Cartographies.

Finally, tor this project of exhibition in MACG, he created Satellite Landscape, work that replicates the same procedure of searching alterations in the landscape to represent them, now, through a cartographic painting crafted with acrylic on the wall of the space.
