Romeo and Juliet

The play tells the story of two young lovers who, despite the opposition of their families and their rivalries, decide to get married in a clandestine way, but several fatalities lead the couple to choose suicide rather than live apart.

A contemporary version of William Shakespeare’s tragedy, which is undoubtedly one of the most tragic love and passionate stories in history.

The choreography comes to the main courtyard of the historical building of the Grasshopper Hill to show that ballet doesn’t need to be performed in a closed space (like a theater) to reveal its greatness; it also combines a more contemporary aspect of dance, not just classical, to join the fine movements with modern body expressions, elements that provide a unique value to the dance production.
