The Death of the Man Who Made an Idea Born

Zapatismo is, perhaps, one of the most symbolic movements of Mexican Revolution. A historical event where the charisma of the leader, as well as the sorrow of his death, converge. The idea of a rebellion that wasn’t snuffed out even with the early and violent passing of Emiliano Zapata.

For this exhibition, five historians join the chorus of voices that already existed and help to give them context. In this way, once the visitor comes in, we hope that she/he can see the idea behind the man, the ideal behind the rage, the history behind the Zapatismo, and the humanity with all its edges that always, inevitably, the books have inside.
