One Hundred Years: Life, We Are in Peace

Photo Exhibition

INEHRM presents the photo exhibition: Life, We Are in Peace, in the context of the commemorations for the centennial of the death of Amado Nervo. Symbol of the Latin American Brotherhood, Nervo passed away at barely 48 years on May 24th, 1919, in Parque Hotel, in Montevideo, where he lived while he served as Chief of the Diplomatic Mission of Mexico in Uruguay. To his funeral, which took place in Mexico City, was attended by 300,000 persons. Also, funerals were celebrated in countries such as Spain, Brazil, Venezuela, and Uruguay.
