Sublime Sensation

The first exhibition dedicated to Gerardo Murillo, better known as Dr. Atl, in the National Art Museum. Here stand out the works bestowed to MUNAL on 2007 from artistic and national trusts of INBAL.

The pictorial set of Dr. Atl, made up by 130 pieces, dialogues with artists such as Eugenio Landesio, José María Velasco, Cleofas Almanza, Carlos Rivera, Joaquín Clausell, Francisco Goitia, Luis Nishizawa, Pedro Flores, Mario Almela, and Jorge Obregón.

The visitor will find from the volcano violence to the countryside tranquility, going across landscapes as diverse as valleys, snow, and woods skillfully depicted by this artist who is considered artistic heritage and father of Mexican muralism.
