The Graphic Mexicanism of Rufino Tamayo

This exhibition displays a part of the work from one of the most important and influential Mexican artists of the 20th century: Rufino Tamayo. In this collection we can appreciate techniques such as lithograph, etched plate, xylograph, and, of course, the one created by himself: mixograph, which consists in giving texture and volume to paper through a drawing in relief.

One must remember that Tamayo renewed the world of graphic arts, thus establishing the technique as a contemporary discipline.
