José Luis Cuevas and Ricardo Rocha Halls

The State Center for the Arts is a complex in which the visual arts, audiovisual creation, graphics and nature converge, housing the José Luis Cuevas and the Ricardo Rocha Halls, the Juan Soriano sculpture garden and La Parota Training Center and Production of Graphic Arts, as well as a musical production studio, halls and an auditorium, which are continuously the headquarters for courses, workshops and conferences.

It is located at the Comala-Colima road, in what used to be artisan workshops created by Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo.

Currently, the José Luis Cuevas Room has an important collection of the work of this artist who remains in an exhibition open to the public. It also has a small space for temporary exhibitions that result from workshops that are held in the State Center for the Arts. Similarly, the Ricardo Rocha Room houses the collection that now forms part of the State's cultural heritage and includes 12 paintings and 22 drawings of paper support.
