Exhibition consisting on more than 80 works of nine national artists, distinguished sculptors from different parts of Mexico, whose plastic production is inserted into the movement called Mexican School of Sculpture. The artists gathered in Sculptors in Studio. Research Notes are: Abraham Jiménez López, Alberto de la Vega, Carmen Carrillo de Antúnez, Fidias Elizondo, Guillermo Toussaint, Isaías Cervantes Rodríguez, José Lorenzo Ruíz, Juan Leonardo Cordero and Manuel Centurión.

Most of them share the nationalist spirit of the revolutionary postulates and their work is in exteriors and interiors of governmental buildings, civil and religious buildings. Within the works of these nine artists, pre-Hispanic tendencies converge, alluding to the volumes and models of the different Mesoamerican cultures; the nationalists, who deal with identity and historical deeds, as well as the social part: sports, education, work, and crafts; besides the exaltation of the mother figure and the avant-garde movements like the art deco.
