In the framework of the 130th anniversary of Mexico-Japan diplomatic relations, Miro Ito, author and initiator of the Media Art League, intends with her work to promote peace and understanding between cultures through artistic expressions, hence the exhibition itinerant is called Path of Light and Hope. Her photographic work portrays the cultural heritage concentrated in Japan, which she has also filmed and researched since 2003.

In 46 images printed on silk and washi paper (handmade in Japan), there are some National Treasures of Japan, such as the bronze statue of Buddha Vairocana, various representations of bodhisattvas and the inner sanctuary of the Hokke-do, located in the Tōdaiji temple, one of the most important historical monuments of Nara, founded by Shōmu Tennō, between 724 and 749 AD.
