Dreams and Obsessions

Inspired by the works of writer Milorad Pavic, Second Body and The Seven Deadly Sins where the passages about the double existence, the duality of time and the multiplicity of realities, are principles of choreographic discourse highlighting the obsessions and dreams of four women in one search to unravel the riddles of a feminine psychology.

The content of the work seeks to unravel the riddles of a feminine psychology, finding its similarities and differences from six different perspectives; that, just as Pavic, will be seen through a duality of space and time. In this way, the duplicity of stocks, as well as the stage space, poses a double experience for the viewer.

The work seeks to create visual metaphors, from the contemporary dance language and physical theater, in an interaction with multimedia tools where the human being remains fundamental to create the stage act.

Research in conjunction with the visual, sound and electronic elements have been fundamental in this process, as well as the personality and life experiences that these six interpreters have put into play to put together this unique piece.
