The Currency of the Liberation Army of the South in Emiliano Zapatas Mournful Centenary

On April 10, 1919, a rain of bullets ended the life of the Caudillo del Sur. Almost one hundred years after that event, the exhibition Reform, Freedom, Justice and Law is presented. The Currency of the Liberation Army of the South in Emiliano Zapata's Mournful Centenary, which gathers part of the money made at that time and which sustained its armed movement.

The exhibition, which begins with the days through which INAH and the Government of the Republic will commemorate the mournful centenary of the South American caudillo, is made up of 139 pieces, including coins, medals and bills from the Mexican Revolution, as well as contemporary ones , belonging to the Numismatic Collection of the Bank of Mexico (Banxico), the most important of its kind in the country.
