1900, A Pianist on the Ocean

Radio adaptation of the novel Novecento by Alessandro Baricco, Italian novelist, playwright and journalist, from Turin, whose style is distinguished by a very personal conception of the narrative rhythm.

During the interwar years, within the transatlantic Virginia, which traveled through the routes between America and Europe with millionaires tourists and immigrants, every night played a special Pianist: Novecento, who had a wonderful technique and was able to pull out unheard notes from the instrument.
