José Miguel Sardiñas Fernández is a graduate in Classic Literature from the University of Havana (1990), Master (1996) and PhD in Hispanic Literature by El Colegio de México (2002). He currently works as full-time Research Professor in Spanish Language and Literature, at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. He is the author of the book "The fantasy tale in Cuba and other studies" (2011) and several articles, and co-editor of more than fifteen volumes of congress proceedings, academic journals and anthologies of texts. He has also published books for education and has translated from French, Italian, English and Latin.
