Perla Olivia Rodríguez Reséndiz, from the Institute of Research on Library and Information Sciences – UNAM and Leticia Cervantes Naranjo, from the Indigenous Intercultural University-Michoacán, will give the talk Hundred Sounds of the Purépecha Soundscape.

At the end of the academic session we’ll have a musical presentation by Tata Vasco Orchestra of Santa Fe de la Laguna, Quiroga, Michoacán.

This lecture is part of the season: Let´s Talk about Recorded Music… and Anthropology, organized by INAH's National Sound Recordings Library on its 53rd anniversary, with the participation of experts and musical groups, as part of the temporary exhibition Echoes of Culture. Ethnography and Sound Recording.
