After an arduous restoration work, the National Institute of Anthropology and History in Hidalgo has the pleasure to reintegrate three majestic tempera paintings of the 16th century.

These three tabular paintings of Epazoyucan, are part of a single altarpiece and they are an example of how the message was transmitted about the life of Jesus Christ, from his birth and the adoration of the kings, until two scenes of the Passion: They Prayer in the Garden and the Ecce Homo (“This Man” in Latin).
