The Tijuana Youth Symphony Orchestra joins the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Star Wars saga.

The attendees can enjoy a musical journey that will go from the themes of Princess Leia, Yoda, Duel of Fate and even The Imperial March.

Star Wars is a series of orchestral and musical themes composed almost entirely for the films by the American composer John Williams; between 1977 and 1983 for the original trilogy, and between 1999 and 2005 for the trilogy of sequels; as well as for television series, short films and even video games of the concept, made by other musicians. The music composed by Williams for the double trilogy is one of the most popular and respected within his already acclaimed work for cinema, especially for the original trilogy.

The music of Star Wars reopened in film scores performed by grand orchestras, in addition to reimpose the use of operatic technique of the leitmotiv, associated mainly with Richard Wagner, and that consists of a single melody that will distinguish each character, setting or specific situation.

All this musical richness and interpretation, as well as the wide acceptance that the saga has among the public of all ages, make a perfect amalgam to convert the venue into a festive space which is expected to add the enthusiasm of the border community.
