Punk is an attitude of discrepancy and rebelliousness in face of the economic, political, social, and cultural system. The exhibition, curated by David G. Torres, by reason of the 40th anniversary of the emergence of the punk movement, recovers antecedents of the movement, presents some of its protagonists, and the authors in whose works remain the main factors of the crisis of the 1970s. Some of the most recurrent themes are: noise, denial, nihilism, violence, or sexuality. The exhibition was presented previously at: CA2M of Madrid Community, Vitoria-Gasteiz’s ARTIUM, and Museu d' Art Contemporani of Barcelona (MACBA); now, we exhibit a version of the exhibition that includes the Mexican context.

Over forty national and international artists participate with works including painting, installation, photos, videos, and documents.
