Know Hidalgo House, the Little France, in a Virtual Tour

The house of Hidalgo as the center of an intense cultural life where he promoted the free exchange of ideas. The attendants called it: the Little France, under the liberal and intellectual weather that transpired there. Here, neighbors and friends from other villages gathered to take part in soirees and balls, to listen to music and see representation of French works translated into Spanish, which were directed by Hidalgo himself.

The site constitutes a typical example of the civilian architecture of the time, with an ample entrance, a squared courtyard surrounded by rooms with independent doors, service area and an orchard.
