México, Ciudad de México

Created on the year 2000 and conducted in a collective way by the directors of the youth’s symphonic orchestras of Mexico City, this orchestra has its venue in the Silvestre Revueltas Concert Hall of Ollin Yoliztli Cultural Center. It is made up by the most prominent students of the twelve youth’s orchestras of Mexico City. It has created its own places in events, or its regular performances in different community forums of Mexico City.

The Youth’s Philharmonic Orchestra not only offers its services to the community through concerts, it also collaborates in the training of new orchestra conductors in the courses that regularly are offered in the Ollin Yoliztli Cultural Center for this purpose.
