Mural: Aguascalientes in History

The mural: Aguascalientes in History (1961) is located in the ground floor, on the southern wall of the City Hall.

It narrates the history of the state and unfolds, to the eyes of the visitor, all the activities made by a people: political, social, and economical, which make up their lives. According to the web page: hidrocalidodigital.com, it is a fresco painting of about 80 square meters. It is located in a wall divided by three arches with pink quarry stone finishes on the superior part. This singular characteristic allowed its creator, Osvaldo Barra Cunningham (1922-1999), to divide his masterwork into three subjects: the regional economy, the politics, and the cultural development.
